Beyond repair?

To start with of all, wow! The place has summer absent? How can it maybe be September previously???

This is only likely to be a shorter web site, but I just required to share a little repair service job that I’ve been functioning on nowadays. The consumer initially despatched me an e-mail a couple of weeks in the past, as she’d been told by a high street jeweller that her sentimental gold gown ring, was not ready to be resized. Que that little evil little bit in my brain that just would like to show them improper and show that it IS achievable, and voila! Just one resized garnet and pearl gown ring. Certainly, it IS a sensitive ring, so she’s not likely to be capable to don it each and every working day, but at least it now CAN be worn, alternatively than being destined to sit in a box forever!

The ring in dilemma – so beautiful!

It’s 9ct gold, set with garnets and pearls and is incredibly delicate, but certainly not further than maintenance. It’s a “dress ring” and will in no way have been meant to be worn all of the time.

Polished and completely ready for a lot of more years!

A “very” mindful polish so as not to hurt those people sensitive pearls, or to take out to significantly of the character. In my view, it is right for an antique to glimpse as such!
