Woman sues local cosmetic company over claims of ‘cruelty-free’ mink eyelashes

LOS ANGELES – A local eyelash business with several celebrity consumers is experiencing a lawsuit above the use of mink fur in its items. 

“You think of lashes, you thought of Lilly Lashes, that is the 1st matter you believe of,” said makeup artist Haylee Woodard. She reported she would generally use Lilly Lashes on her client, specially brides. But now, Woodard is suing Lilly Lashes, alleging the statements the enterprise can make about “cruelty-free of charge” products and solutions are phony. 

Lilly Lashes was founded by Shahs of Sunset star Lilly Ghalichi, and offers a laundry checklist of huge celebrity consumers. “Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Rihanna and Lady Gaga are just a couple of of the A-Listing celebs that have rocked the red carpet in their Lilly Lashes,” their web site promises.

Lilly Lashes has denied the allegations, telling FOX 11 that the enterprise, “intends to vigorously defend itself against the promises in the lawsuit. We are not able to offer even further remark on this pending legal issue.”
