ENJOY being treated like a princess at the newly opened children’s pamper business in Southampton.
Little Lovelies Children’s Pamper Sessions is the brainchild of mum of three Carly Devon.
The stay-at-home mum loves working with children, and after seeing a gap in the market decided to take the plunge and launch her business.
The 34-year-old said: “There is nothing like it in Southampton, so I thought ‘why don’t I do it?’
“On arrival, children are given a fluffy robe and headband. We then style their hair and include hair glitter.

“We then paint their nails the colour of their choice before they put their feet in a bubbly foot spa. They then have their toenails painted and we offer stick-on earrings as well.
“I had three little girls celebrating a birthday last weekend and they were so happy and said it was the best day of their lives.”
Since launching on April 3, Carly, who is mum to an eight-year-old, five-year-old and ten-month-old, has received a good response to her venture and has even been inspired to introduce something new.
She said: “My boy is very aware of girly things but wanted to be pampered, so I tried to think of something he would be happy with, so that is why I came up with the Turkish barber-style pamper treatment.
“I’ve had quite a lot of interest and people saying it is such a good idea and something which is needed for boys.
“The ‘Bros’ Before Bows’ session is a Turkish-style barber treatment I’m starting in May.

“Children choosing this treatment will receive a barbers cape to wear, a tankard of ‘beer’ (fruit juice) and have a shaving experience with sensitive shaving foam and a fake razor.
“They will then be treated to a face mask and cucumber eye towel to relax, foot spa, an optional nail file and varnish, styled hair, a temporary tattoo, and a spritz of aftershave.
“It’s not about making money; I love working with children.
“The kids have endured so much change recently and it is nice to give the boys the option of a pamper too. It’s the perfect opportunity to start something for them.”
Pamper sessions are available every Sunday at Little Hair Co in Bitterne Park Triangle.
Children aged from three upwards can enjoy a session, providing they can sit still.
Sessions can be booked by contacting Carly via her Facebook page Little Lovelies Children’s Pamper Sessions.
