On January 20, in the La Manga neighborhood in Barranquilla, a man tried to hang his 11-year-old daughter with a telephone cable, was captured and sent to a prison center by the Promiscuous Municipal Court of the Municipality of Juan de Acosta with duties of safeguards.
According to local media, the man’s assault occurred after the minor had discovered an extramarital affair of his father and, apparently, alerted his mother to the fact.
“One normal day, the man went out to exercise and left his cell phone at the house where his daughter was. At that time, a message came to her that would demonstrate a second romantic relationship between the man (the girl’s father) and another woman. The minor immediately informed her mother, who told the prisoner to leave the house because the relationship had ended, because they were in trouble,” a judicial source told the newspaper El Heraldo.
He also indicated that the man waited for the girl’s mother to go to work in order to attack her.
“The subject took the minor and with a cable began to attack her all over her body causing serious lacerations. The violent act did not stop there because after beating her he tried to hang her with the same element, while the minor asked for help and several of her relatives tried to rescue her, but the man also assaulted them,” he added.
The minor had to be transferred, after the brutal beating, to the Eps Sura emergency, where all protocols of violence against minors were activated.
“The minor was taken to a care center by several relatives who heard her cries for help,” the investigator said.
Faced with this and the strong material evidence presented by a prosecutor from the Center for Attention to Victims of Domestic Violence (Cavif) of the Atlantic Sectional, a judge prosecuted the aggressor.
The prosecutor in the case condemned the 36-year-old investigated the crime of aggravated domestic violence, which was not raided during the preliminary hearings.
As a result, the promiscuous municipal court of Juan de Acosta, Atlántico, accepted the prosecutor’s request and imposed an intra-wall security measure against the aggressor.
Uniformed members of the Sijín Police, in a joint work with the National Army, confirmed that on March 9 Orixon Jesús Escorcia Campo, a renowned physical trainer and masseur, was captured after being accused of sexually abusing an 18-year-old boy in southern Barranquilla.
The arrest of this man took place in the middle of the training session, in the sports complex ‘El Pibe’ Valderrama, located in the Ciudadela 20 de Julio neighborhood. The process was carried out in compliance with the court order issued by the 26th Prosecutor’s Office of the Unit of the Center for the Care of Victims of Sexual Abuse (Caivas).
On February 8, the victim reported to the authorities that she was sexually abused by this instructor, who appears alongside several influencers on her social networks. According to her account, she entered the man’s house, where he offered spa and massage services, but then the man indicated would have violated her.
Escorcia Campo was transferred to an Immediate Reaction Unit (URI) of the Attorney General’s Office to begin his trial with justice. The coach must answer for the crime of violent carnal access in circumstances of punitive aggravation.
